How do i get the plugins for my IDeas Emulator to work?
I have the newest version of ideas and it works and then i download the plugins for sound and other things. But i dont think the emulator detects them cuz i still do not get sound
the newest version already includes audio plugins, so don’t download them again
however, the audio is still scratchy and poppy, so you might be better off with a mute game
What type of die-cutting machine can cut shapes that I design?
I have never used a die-cut machine, but am interested in finding one that can precisely cut silhouettes for a children’s book I am working on. Does such a thing exist? All I seem to find in my research is that all these machines must use existing shapes. Is it possible to have the "shape" on my computer and send that info to the cutter to cut out?
Thanks for any help!
The Cricut machine has a hookup that can be sent from your computer to the machine. The downside is that the machine just draws it for you and you have to cut it out yourself.
I don’t know much about the Xryon Wishblade, but I know it can be hooked up at a PC too. Check the link below and see if it’s what you are looking for.
Good luck.
Is it true that the frames per second that TVs run at renders the brain to susceptible suggestion?
Or is it just the Garbage that spin doctors feed us on the news and in big movies?
mildy. it’s about as suggestive as really weak subliminal messaging. what gets you is the hours and hours of watching it
How can I make pictures transparent in power point?
I can make shapes and things transparent, but when I add in pics, i cant make em transparent. Im using Office 2007 and 2003, both!
The picture has to be created with transparency. JPGs cannot handle transparency, the popular GIF and PNG formats can.
You need to use an image application, like the GIMP, to create this.

How do I or where can I find a Photoshop CS3 Plugin to Transform a Black and White Pictures to Color?
I need to transform a black and white picture to color for a contest. I need to learn how to do it and make it look good or better yet if there is a plugin for Adobe Photoshop CS3 or any software that can help me achieve this. I would appreciate it very much.
There isn’t, colouring a b&w photo is an art within itself. It can be tedious and take alot of time. You can’t do it with a click of a button.
What you need is a tutorial. look up adobe, they have tons of free tutorials
What are some free photo editing softwares like Dreamlight?
What are some free photo editing softwares like Dreamlight?
Nothing adobe, something free. I just like Dreamlight, but I want something like it, but a little better, that’s free
Picnik, FotoFlexer or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Adobe, makers of the expensive Photoshop, now has a free website version in Photoshop Express. If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. There are also free tools to add text blurbs, to make collages, to put your photo into other images. There are a number of tools that allow you to put the image of a face into other photos for some fun creations. Check out the links below for more ideas.

What is a good acid based cleaner to clean pool filters?
We have an above ground doughboy pools with a pump. (You can buy at any Wal-mart) We have been reusing the filters that go in the pump but they haven’t been getting as clean enough. We found on line where these can be cleaned using an acid based cleaner, but what? Need something affordable so we can keep reusing filters. (Wal-mart ALWAYS sells out) Only serious answers please.
I have worked at a pool store for 3 years now. We sell a product called Muratic Acid. You would soak your filter in a solution of 3 parts acid to one part water for no more than 5 min. You can do this as often as you need to. Also when you squirt your filter down with the hose, never spray from the outside in. Always spray from the inside to push all particles to the outside.

If so, where can I get criminal background check and can it be notarized by any public notary officer or, does it have to be notarized by an embassy?
Thanks.

Difference between Computer Arts: New Media and Graphic Design at Academy of Art University?
I’m planning on going to the Academy of Art University in SF, but I’m stuck between whether I should take Computer Arts: New Media or Graphic Design. Could someone please tell me the difference? Also, if I do take Computer Arts:New Media, what type of career opportunities are there? I know obviously if I take Graphic Design, I become a Graphic Designer, am I right? Please help!
Hello! I’m a student at AAU and here’s about as much as I know:
New Media is part of the Computer Arts school, so you’re going to learn more about web design and web graphics. You’ll probably learn programs like Photoshop, Flash, After Effects Fireworks, Dreamweaver, etc. and probably some basic HTML, CSS, etc.
Graphic Design is more traditional arts based, where you’ll learn the principals of design and stuff like typology, calligraphy, print and package design.
You can always change your major if you end up liking one more than the other. You can probably even float between the two and still be a graphic designer, but learn the tools of the new media trade.
