I know where to get the plugins, but how do I download them and put them in the imovie effects list?

Is there a tutorial out there?

I downloaded some plugins once, I forgot if they installed themselves or not though. But they are located in Home > Library > iMovie > plugins. If they don’t automatically install themselves that’s where you can manually install them and in iMovie HD you’ll find them along with the other effects. The ones I downloaded, I couldn’t open the file to install them so I downloaded UnArchiver and used that to open the download. Just in case you might experience the same thing.

This would obviously include people who justify the negative act of lying. They are also dishonest/manipulative people who can’t be trusted due to their controlling habits (self exposure).

I have a saved PSD image on a transparent background in Photoshop but when I drag it into Indesign a white background appears. The image was creating in Illustrator and then copied into photoshop for added details before saving it as a PSD file. Please help!

InDesign supports *native* placement of other Adobe images (Illustrator’s AI files, Photoshop’s PSD files, etc.) Anyone who tells you you have to export your images to something else (like a PNG or a GIF– or worse… JPG) doesn’t understand the Creative Suite (well meaning as they may be.)

This is your answer:
Choose File > Place [keyboard shortcut: <Command-D> (Mac) / <Ctrl-D> (PC)] and select your PSD — don’t click OPEN yet! Ensure the Show Import Options box is checked, then click Open.

Double-check what layers you’re bringing in by turning on and off your layers in the Image Import Options dialog window that appears.

Failing all that, I’d re-evaluate my image and what really is "transparent" as opposed to "translucent" which can often happen if your isolation technique (e.g., using the magic wand, the lasso, marquee tool, layer options, using (quick)masks, etc.) in Photoshop aren’t precise and solid.

I added a cool background picture to my profile, but I can only see the sides of the picture, because the white foreground with my tables is in the way. I would like to make this foreground transparent, therefore allowing me to see my background image. I googled this and tried various css coding with no luck. Will someone please tell me how to do this without using a profile editor? All help is greatly appreciated.
