I don’t have a plugins folder, this is really annoying

Windows Media does have plug-ins but they are installed through installer. Here are a few links and they are all very easy to install.

I don’t think WMP has a plugins folder but I do know that it has a skin folder and visualization folder where visualizations and skins are kept.

I need to know all the names of three dimensional shapes with 12 or more faces. If possible please supply website with all diagrams and names on it plz?

You know how there are celeb pictures with transparent text over it for a copyright? Well if I wanted to do that to my own photos how do I do it?

It’s called a "watermark" check the help files on your graphics software to find out how to do it. If it doesn’t have a watermark feature, simply creating a low opacity layer with the text you need and merging it with the photo may suffice.

I have Firefox so I went to Tools>Add-ons> and tried to find the add-on/plugin for the megaupload toolbar that had been installed onto my computer. The problem is that there are no add-ons that are shown to be on the computer yet their toolbars are here when I go to View>Toolbars. Can someone please help me?

Check programs and features in your Control Panel. If you see it, just uninstall.

So we are getting engagement photos done by an amateur photographer for free. He’s giving us the CD at the end and I’m going to use photo editing software (probably Paint Shop Pro, maybe Photo Shop) to naturally enhance them a bit. They are being done mostly outside at Disney so I don’t think they’ll need much (I LOVE natural outdoor lighting), but still. I photo edit all the time, but I like a lot of contrast and everything. What are some good tips for NATURALLY enhancing them?

For balancing, curves are a marvelous tool, as they can be used to implement many other adjustments, such as contrast, mid-tone expansion, colour cast correction (by manipulating RGB separately).

In essence, with curves, you measure (colour picker) a point on the image, and then use curves to change the input values to the output values you want.

For instance, you can lighten shadows by setting a point near the low end, and then dragging it upward – many of the other adjustments, such as brightness/contrast, highlight/mid-tone/shadow can be achieved using the curves tool, with more precise control.

I have a Pentair Clean and Clean cartridge filter for my in ground pool and I need to replace the cartridge. In the past I have used Unicel, but was recently told about Filbur and they are less expensive. Does anyone have any experience with these filters, which one do you recommend and why?

They are probably all made by unicel. How many years did you get out of your old filters? They typically last 4-5 years with reasonable care.

I am interested in attending the Art Institute of Atlanta’s web design Diploma Program – It is short and exactly what I want on the surface. However, 3k a quarter is money I need to make sure that I am spending correctly.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but I don’t know a better place. What would that major be considered? I want to get into video game design, animation, and computer graphic design, but I’m not sure what the proper term for that is called. Can someone please help me out? Thanks!

Along with everyone else – it’s random. Depending on where you go – it is different things.
For what you want look at colleges like Fullsail in Florida, some of the Art Institutes, and Art Center in California. Make sure they have 3D modeling and programming.
Be careful with programs that are just "digital design" and stuff like that. These programs can be so random in what they teach you that you won’t learn enough to get into game design. (I know this from being at University of Cincinnati with Digital Design majors who have not gotten enough 3D modeling to do what they were told they would be able to.)
Start looking at portfolios of some game companies you like and see what they require for an entry level position. Usually they are crazy high – but you may be able to find out what you need and choose a program from there.
Fullsail really is great for game design – it’s what they are all about – I suggest you look there.
