How to change background color from white to yellow?
How do I change the color setting on white backgrounds on both the computer screen and on Yahoo mail from white to a yellow background. Anything that requires reading words on a white background adds to the migraine headaches I have because the screen appears to flash and the words squiggle. A computer educator told me that changing to yellow would help to stop this. How do I change the background settings?
To change your windows background right click on your desktop and select properties. Click the desktop tab, and change background to None (at the top) and click the Colour drop down box and select yellow.
Next, go to appearance. There might be a choice under ‘Colour scheme’ that would meet your needs, have a look through those. If not, you can click ‘Advanced’ and change the colour of individual items as you see fit.
I’m not sure how to help you change information displayed in an internet browser I’m afraid.
Hope this helps

if you are using windows vista, go to control panel, then "appearance and personalisation", under "personalisation" click "customise colours", then click "open classic appearance properties for more colour options", under "colour scheme" choose something like "high contrast black". you could also make your windows wallpaper a neutral dark colour.
hope that helps
