How long do background checks take when buying a gun?

I live in NJ.

I have filled out the paperwork and tomorrow morning I am bringing it to the police station where I will be fingerprinted.

How long will the background test take so they can check my criminal and mental background? Is it instant or does it take a while? Also, will I get my permit tomorrow or will it come in the mail?

5 minutes to 30days,and no not tomorrow i checked,you are a little too eager,they will now test your paitaince

How do i go about getting a background check?

I emailed someone on Craigslist about their need for a nanny. They mentioned that i also needed to submit a drug screen and background check.
How do i go about getting a drug screen and a background check?
Is this "drug screen" just like a pee test? And how much would this background check cost me, and whereabouts do i go to apply, or whatveer? I dont even know how it works.

I recently had a similar situation when I hired someone to work in my home for a number of months.

I went to this site http://www.mgrmanagement.info and it provided me with the information that I needed.

Sure enough, the person I was going to hire to work around my family had a lengthy criminal record including robbery!

He seemed like a very nice man but you cannot judge a book by its cover. Do yourself a favor and have them checked out.

How can you make the background lighter in photoshop?

I have a portrait of a person against a black background, but it’s hard to see their hair. How can I make the background lighter? I don’t have a background layer(I haven’t made any layers).

I am completely new to photoshop so I would appreciate it if you could explain the basics. Thank you.

You problem is in your lighting of the subject. A little hair light would have solved your problems.

As you are learning, Photoshop is not the cure for all your mistakes at the time of the exposure.

Plan on reshooting and before you do, spend some time on this website.

How to blur the background in moving footage?

I just want to know how to blur a background of real footage, like someone might walk in front of a camera but the background is still blurred as they walk past,the person themselves wouldn’t get blurred of course, just the background. I have Adobe After Effects CS4 so link me to some tutorials that may have what I want. Don’t say Video copilot T_T I’ve already looked there.

It should be easier ro do in the camera…
