What is a photo editing site like instogram but for a desktop or laptop? i don’t have a ipod touch or iphone. but i like the editing effects. suggestions?

one of my passions in life is to be a photographer and one day i wanna do it professionally but for now i just do it as a hobby. what would be some good photo editing software thats not expensive but is semi professional?

I would say picnik.com. It’s simple to use, but has some interesting effects. Instagram is also a good website. As you get further into photography, I would recommend PSE Adobe Photoshop – but not yet, because it’s very confusing to operate. It takes a long time to figure out.

I have been making using Photoshop for years, just making photo’s for fun. But i am planning on making some money. I would enter photo editing contests or if someone asked me to make a logo or a photo for them i would also do that. Thanks

Check out your local job website, there are sometimes photographer’s assistant positions available that require good/extensive knowledge in photo editing for retouching.

If you can have work done for a photographer and they like it, more work could be sent your way, but you must be EXCELLENT at what you do.

Prepare a portfolio of your best edits (at least 10) with a wide subject range. Have the original, unedited images alongside for comparison.

For online collage website, picnik.com is a good one I used to make my collage out there. Not wanted to be bothered by uploading photos any more, I switched to collage programs. Just download a program in a few seconds, I can do collage for my photos anywhere even without accessing to Internet. It’s a little more convenient, IMO.

I’m an amateur photographer and i need some editing programs for my new mac. I am looking for something with pre made filters you can just click and your photo turns into that filter and something that you can manually touch up with brightness contrast saturation etc.

I want to circle a picture. What photo editing software should I use and how to use it?
I do not mean shaping the photo into a circle.

What I mean is to put a round circle on a certain part of the photo so that the viewer knows which part of the photo I am referring to.
I need somemore answer as my query is not answered yet.

I see what you mean now.
You can open MS Paint (or just Paint on Vista/Windows 7), go to File > Open and select your image.

Microsoft Paint comes with every windows computer, you can find it under All Programs > Accessories. When you’re done editing, File > Save as (select location where you want to save on your computer) and save the image as a .JPEG

Other than the photo shop trial, i need a photo editing software that is similar to photoshop. Also it needs to be one that i can easily edit photos then put them on websites like facebook or myspace. I have HP windows 7. Help me!!
