What is a good & easy to use free photo editing software? Never really used one before. I’m just getting started with photography. Any suggestions? What do you use?

I use Gimp 2.6. It is a free open source photo editing program. It’s not necessarily the easiest to use, but it is a good one once you get used to it.

I need an affordable video and photo editing program for my computer. It has to be good but I don’t know where to get one and I need it at a reasonable price. Please help!

I create photo-quote cards as a hobby.
I am looking for the best photo editing program (within a $25-$50 price range) that offers a lot of creative frames, etc…and a lot of different fonts to create words as well as other features to decorate or enhance my photos.

- Picnik: Mostly free, but for extra features you have to pay. Cool stickers and text you can add to pictures. You can enhance and beautify your pictures
- Blingee: Personally not as good as picnik. For more features, you also have to pay.
- Lunapic: You can pretty much edit any pictures. I think you can even add a few things to it.
- Fotoflexer: Same as the others. Effects can be added and editing can be done
- PiZap: Less serious editing. Mostly about adding fun stickers onto the pictures.

I recently got a macbook and I need some photo-editing software for it. I need something similar to Adobe photoshop or Coral Paint shop. Something that has the same features. Preferably if it was sold in the mac app store or if there is a free download/trial I could get. I need something affordable. Please help.

i want one that is like picnik where you can add text, effects, frames, stickers, stuff like that. are there any good programs like this that aren’t more than about 1 GB (I don’t want it to be a super huge program..). and also are there any free photo editing programs that can be stored on a memory stick or something? (i read that on one program you could do that)
are paint.net and GIMP compatible with windows 7? and can they be stored on memory sticks?
