when ever i render a video in sony vegas, the final video is always choppy. how can i fix this?

The most likely cause is a computer that’s too slow to play the video back at full speed. This is especially true if you are working with high-definition video. Apart from getting a faster computer, your options include rendering to a lower-resolution format, or rendering to a format that has less compression (the less compressed a video is, the easier it is for the computer to play it back). The video itself isn’t choppy, it’s just the playback that hesitates because the computer is having trouble keeping up with it.

Need a free program… Have this neat little world in my head that I’d like to render. I’d like to think that the map of N’her-Girdré in Pet Dragons 2 was created in a program like that, but I can’t find it. 8[ Any help?

I dont think it exists. The best you can get is a application that enables you create a programme that enables you build a map sandbox style.

You’ve seen those great demo reels people have made with amazing renders of their Maya models and animations. I want to know how to do amazing professional grade renders (with fades from wireframe to solid shade, etc)….thanks in advance

you need to make a compositing and post production process.
You can produce your 3d sequences based on the images you render and then using compositing software like after effects, shake, nuke, smoke, flame. then you can match and cross fade all the image sequences.

Recently I’ve been making sigs with GIMP and have been using Planetrenders to get the renders, but lately I haven’t been finding anything that I particularily care for on there. If anybody could tell me about some other sites for renders that are out there I’d be extremely grateful

I’m trying to learn to use both Photoshop and Fighter Factory and when I find either sprites or renders on the internet, they all have brightly colored backgrounds. Can anyone tell me why this is and how to easily remove it or make the color transparent?

It’s called color keying (one term for it, different people call it different things). When a sprite is rendered, it can be told to ignore any pixels of a certain color, such as hot pink (RGB 255, 0, 255) or bright green (RGB 0, 255, 0). So the bright backgrounds you see aren’t rendered in the final game (or other application; I assume game since you’re using sprites).

I don’t know how to make the color transparent, but Google is your friend. It depends on the software package you’re using. HTH

Ugh. I found a lot of renders for you before but it all got deleted because it says that Y! A is unavailable. =.= Just search "High School of Dead render" in Google images and some should come up though a few are really small. There are at least 5 on Google images.
