wat does perpendicular and parallel mean i forget

Perpendicular is when two lines intersect at a 90 degree angle, also called a right angle.

Parallel lines never intersect.

Perpendicular lines have slopes in the form of
1st line slope= a/b
2nd line slope = -b/a

Parallel lines have the same slope
1st line slope = a/b
2nd line slope= a/b
