Looking to buy a colored light bulb for a little concert I’m having at my house – and the bulb i was gonna use burned out – looking to buy a new one! What is the difference between ceramic and transparent colored light bulbs?
Does that mean one color shows up better in one than the other?

The ceramic bulbs are translucent: you can’t see the filament through the bulb — the light appears uniformly on the bulb. Transparent means that you can actually see the filament.
